Mr. Minh is experienced in corporate finance advisory for both sell-side and buy-side. He also participated in many important projects in Vietnam such as the equitization of one of the largest state-owned banks in Vietnam, stock listing of the largest Vietnamese dairy company in international market, divestment in real estate property for a Korean family business, IPO for a large F&B company and issuance of the first convertible bond in Vietnam.
Prior to joining VNDIRECT, he was Director of M&A Advisory Services at Ernst & Young Vietnam.
Before that, he served as Director of Investment Banking at Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation. He mainly represented sell-side in M&A transactions.
Mr. Minh used to work for J.P. Morgan Investment Bank. He dealt directly with local and foreign companies in Vietnam to raise capital through equitization, stock listing in international market, private placement, and issuance of complex financial instruments.
From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Minh was the first analyst of J.P. Morgan Vietnam to have the certificate to publish research reports on strategy, industries and companies.
Prior to that, Mr. Minh had held many positions at Dragon Capital, the largest and oldest private fund in Vietnam.
Mr. Minh earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University (Waco, Texas, USA).
Mr. Viet has 7-year experience in investment banking, especially in raising capital for joint stock company and issuing stocks in Vietnam market.
Before joining VNDIRECT, Mr. Viet served as Director of Investment Banking (North region) at Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC). His duties included raising capital for FCN, Hoa Binh Inox Joint Stock Company, Hoa Binh Hotel Joint Stock Company, VITOURS. He also took charge in divestment of state-owned capital and stock issuance of VINACHEM.
Prior to that, Mr. Viet was Project Manager of Investment Banking Division at Saigon Securities Inc. He worked on projects to raise capital for many joint stock companies of Vietnam such as Elcom, Dabaco, Hoa Phat Group and SSI.
From 2003 to 2007, he worked at Deloitte Vietnam. His clients included a number of large corporation in Vietnam such as Petrolimex, PetroVietnam, Bao Viet Life Insurance, EVN Corporation, Daewoo Hotel, Horizon Hotel, Vidamco, Canon, Parker, etc.
Mr. Viet graduated from Exeter University (UK) with a master’s degree in Finance and Investment in 2009. He also holds a degree from Institute of Merger & Acquisition of Switzerland in 2011.
Mr. Duc has 7-year experience in investment, research, investment banking and especially in raising capital and issuing stock in Vietnam market.
Before joining VNDIRECT, Mr. Duc has 3 years working at Investment Banking Division of VietCaptial Securities Company. In that position, he searched for new business opportunities including M&A, financing by liability and equity, financial restructuring for many companies such as PVD, PVCFC.
Prior to that, Mr. Duc had served at Vietfund Management from 2008 to 2012. He was in charge of Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Construction Material and Real Estate industry. He has gained in-depth knowledge by analyzing many companies such as DPM, PVD, GAS, VNM, AGPPS, HAG.
Mr. Duc holds a MBA degree from Rennes I University (France).
Mr. Son has 6-year experience in investment banking especially in Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Retail, Infrastructure and Food Processing industry.
Before joining VNDIRECT, Mr. Son was Director at VietCapital Securities Company with responsibility for searching opportunity and making M&A deals in capital market. These deals included IPO of PV Gas, selling Proconco’s stocks to Masan Group, IPO Mobile Phone World Joint Stock Company, Pacific Tollway Corporation’s investment in CII Bridges and Roads Investment Joint Stock Company, selling Saigon Nutri Food to Masan Consumer.
Prior to that, Mr. Son served as Vice Head of Trade Finance, Financial Institutions Sales and Operation Management at Oversea Chinese Banking Corporation.
Mr. Son holds a degree of information technology in e-commerce from National University of Singapore.
